Family-Friendly 3-Day Goa Itinerary in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore the Beaches of North Goa
    30 minutes (16 km) from Goa International Airport

    Morning: Start off your day by taking a stroll at the beautiful Baga Beach and enjoying the views of the Arabian Sea. For breakfast, head to Infantaria Cafe and try their delicious omelettes and coffee. Afternoon: Visit the famous Aguada Fort, a 17th-century Portuguese fort, and take a guided tour to learn about its history. After that, head over to Anjuna Beach for a relaxing afternoon and some water sports activities. Evening: Watch the sunset at Vagator Beach and enjoy a nice seafood dinner at one of the beach shacks.

  2. Day 2: Old Goa & Panaji City Tour
    30 minutes (18 km) from Vagator Beach

    Morning: Start the day by visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Basilica of Bom Jesus, and marvel at its beautiful architecture. After that, take a walk around the Old Goa heritage complex and visit the Se Cathedral and St. Francis of Assisi church. Afternoon: Head over to Panaji, the capital city of Goa, and visit the famous Mandovi River. Take a river cruise and enjoy the scenic views of the city. Stop by the famous Panaji Market and shop for some souvenirs. Evening: Visit the Immaculate Conception Church, a beautiful white-washed church and watch the sunset at Miramar Beach. For dinner, try the local street food at the Panaji night market.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Waterfalls and Spice Plantation Tour
    2 hours (75 km) from Miramar Beach

    Morning: Start your day early and head to the majestic Dudhsagar Waterfalls, the fourth highest waterfall in India. Take a dip in the natural pool and enjoy the scenic views. Afternoon: After the waterfall visit, take a tour of the spice plantation and learn about the various spices cultivated in Goa. Enjoy a traditional Goan lunch at the plantation. Evening: Head back to your hotel and spend the evening relaxing by the pool or beach. For dinner, try the seafood at Britto's, one of the most popular restaurants in Goa.

If you're interested in adventure sports, you can try parasailing, jet-skiing, and banana boat rides at various beaches. For a side trip, you can visit the scenic islands of Divar and Chorao. To maximize your fun, try attending a local Goan festival such as the Goa Carnival or the Shigmo Festival. Don't forget to try the famous Goan fish curry during your trip!
