Transportation

Airports

Istanbul has two international airports. Istanbul Airport (IST) is the newer and more significant airport, located in the Arnavutköy district, roughly 32 km northwest of the city center. Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW) is the second airport, situated in Pendik-Kurtköy, about 35 km southeast of the city. Both airports offer convenient connections to and from the city center.
