Two-Day Itinerary for Diu

  1. Day 1: Diu Fort
    10 minutes (2.3 km) from Diu Airport

    Diu Fort, a magnificent structure dating back to the 16th century, is a perfect place to start your visit to Diu. The fort has a lighthouse, a chapel, canons and a museum. In the morning, explore the fort's history and architecture. Afternoon, head to the nearby Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple, a group of five Shivlinga located near the sea. In the evening, head to Naida Caves, a set of interconnected natural caves formed by the erosion of rocks due to the Arabian Sea waves.

  2. Day 2: St. Paul's Church
    20 minutes (4 km) from Naida Caves

    The St. Paul's Church, built in 1601, is a Portuguese colonial-era church and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the morning, explore the church's architecture and history. Afternoon, head to the Diu Museum, which has exhibits of antique statues and artefacts from the colonial era. In the evening, head to Jallandhar Beach, a beautiful beach with clear water and scenic views.
