4-Day Adventure Itinerary in Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Dehradun in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Haridwar
    Starting from Haridwar Railway Station
    23 minutes (10.5 km) from Jairam Ashram, Rishikesh

    Experience the thrill of river rafting in the River Ganga, and feel the adrenaline rush. Afterward, visit the Mansa Devi Temple, one of the most ancient and sacred temples in India, dedicated to Goddess Mansa Devi. For the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, a spiritual ceremony that takes place every day at sunset, offering prayers to the River Ganges.

  2. Day 2: Rishikesh

    In the morning, take a dip in the holy River Ganges, and then embark on a trek to the Neer Garh Waterfall, a beautiful waterfall surrounded by lush greenery and trekking trails. For the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan, a popular spiritual ashram.

  3. Day 3: Dehradun
    Starting from Lakshman Jhula, Rishikesh
    1 hour 20 minutes (44.5 km) from Robber's Cave, Dehradun

    Begin the day with a visit to the Mindrolling Monastery, one of the largest Tibetan Buddhist centers in India, and marvel at its intricate architecture and beautiful gardens. Afterward, head to Robber's Cave, a natural cave formation surrounded by lush greenery and a scenic waterfall. For the evening, take a stroll at the Rajaji National Park and enjoy the wildlife and nature around.

  4. Day 4: Rishikesh
    Starting from Robber's Cave, Dehradun
    2 hours (57.7 km) from Haridwar railway station

    In the morning, enjoy some adventure activities like bungee jumping, flying fox, and giant swing at Jumpin Heights, one of the highest bungee jumping platforms in India. Afterward, visit Triveni Ghat, a sacred bathing spot, and attend the evening Ganga Aarti. End your day by shopping at Ram Jhula Market, a vibrant and bustling market selling everything from jewelry to clothing and souvenirs.
