4-Day Foodie Itinerary in Goa for November 2023

  1. Day 1: Anjuna Flea Market
    1-hour drive (16 miles) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, head to the Anjuna Flea Market, which opens every Wednesday. Walk around the colorful stalls filled with trinkets, handicrafts, and souvenirs. When you get hungry, try the seafood and Indian street food. In the afternoon, visit Vagator Beach for some sun and sand. Go to Thalassa Restaurant for a Mediterranean seafood dinner while watching the sunset. In the evening, explore Tito's Lane for some nightlife.

  2. Day 2: Spice Plantation and Old Goa
    1-hour drive (22 miles) from Anjuna Flea Market

    Visit Sahakari Spice Farm in the morning and learn about the spices that make Goan cuisine so unique. Enjoy a Goan thali lunch at the farm. In the afternoon, go to Old Goa to see the Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral. Have a cup of coffee and a slice of bebinca at Confeitaria 31 de Janeiro. In the evening, go to Fisherman's Wharf for some seafood and live music.

  3. Day 3: Mapusa Market and Divar Island
    30-minute drive (9 miles) from Old Goa

    Go to Mapusa Market in the morning, which opens every Friday. Try the local delicacy of sorpotel and buy some cashew nuts. In the afternoon, take a ferry to Divar Island and rent a bike to explore the lush greenery. Check out the Our Lady of Compassion Church and the Saptakoteshwar Temple. Have a traditional Goan dinner at Viva Panjim restaurant.

  4. Day 4: Colva Beach and Margao
    1-hour drive (21 miles) from Divar Island

    Visit Colva Beach in the morning and have a breakfast of poi and Goan sausages. Take a dip in the Arabian Sea and enjoy the quiet beach. In the afternoon, go to Margao to see the Church of the Holy Spirit and the Monte Hill. Have a beef croquette and a samosa at the 1950s bakery, Simonia's. In the evening, go to Martin's Corner for some pork vindaloo and feni.
