3-Day Itinerary: Ukai to Dwarka, Somnath, Kastbhanjan Hanuman Mandir

  1. Day 1: Dwarka
    2 hours 30 minutes (94 miles) from Ukai

    Start your morning with a visit to the Dwarkadhish Temple, one of the most significant temples in Hinduism. Immerse yourself in the spiritual atmosphere and the intricate architecture of the temple. In the afternoon, head to Beyt Dwarka, an island located 30 minutes from the temple. Visit the Beyt Dwarkadhish Temple and the Rukmini Devi Temple. Take a boat ride to see dolphins in the Arabian Sea. In the evening, watch the aarti ceremony at the Dwarkadhish Temple and experience the beauty of the lamps and chanting.

  2. Day 2: Somnath
    3 hours 30 minutes (125 miles) from Dwarka

    Begin your day with a visit to the Somnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines of Lord Shiva. The temple is beautifully situated on the coast of the Arabian Sea. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Gir National Park, which is home to Asiatic lions, leopards, and various other wildlife. Take a jungle safari to explore the park. In the evening, catch the Sound and Light show at the Somnath Temple that narrates the history of the temple and the stories associated with it.

  3. Day 3: Kastbhanjan Hanuman Mandir
    2 hours 30 minutes (100 miles) from Somnath

    On your last day, visit the Kastbhanjan Hanuman Mandir in Sarangpur, a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The temple is famous for its 18-feet tall Hanuman idol and beautiful architecture. After your visit, head to the nearby Nalsarovar Bird Sanctuary, a wetland and lake that is home to over 200 species of birds. Take a boat ride to explore the sanctuary. In the evening, enjoy the sunset at the Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad, located 1 hour and 30 minutes from Nalsarovar.
