4-day Rajasthan Itinerary in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Jaipur
    15 minutes (5.5 km) from Jaipur International Airport

    In the morning, visit the Amber Fort, an impressive sandstone and marble palace complex that served as the residence of the Rajput Maharajas. In the afternoon, explore the City Palace Museum, which features an extensive collection of art, weapons, and royal costumes. In the evening, head to the Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds, a five-story pink sandstone palace with intricate latticework and over 900 windows.

  2. Day 2: Jodhpur
    5 hours (337 km) from Jaipur

    Morning: Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India, and explore the museum inside. In the afternoon, head to the Umaid Bhawan Palace, a grand Art Deco palace that serves as the residence of the Jodhpur royal family. In the evening, explore the bustling Sardar Market, where you can buy traditional Rajasthani souvenirs and sample local street food.

  3. Day 3: Udaipur
    4 hours 30 minutes (260 km) from Jodhpur

    Morning: Visit the stunning City Palace, which sits on the banks of Lake Pichola and features elaborate courtyards, gardens, and a museum. In the afternoon, take a boat ride on Lake Pichola and admire the beautiful Jag Mandir Palace and the Lake Palace. In the evening, head to the Bagore Ki Haveli Museum, which showcases traditional Rajasthani music, dance, and puppetry.

  4. Day 4: Pushkar
    3 hours 30 minutes (170 km) from Udaipur

    Visit the Brahma Temple, one of the few temples in the world dedicated to the Hindu god Brahma. Take a dip in the holy Pushkar Lake and visit the Savitri Temple, which offers stunning views of the surrounding desert landscape. Explore the vibrant Pushkar Bazaar, which sells everything from spices and textiles to jewelry and souvenirs.
