15-Day Itinerary for Exploring Iran

  • Day 1: Tehran

  • Day 8-10: Shiraz

    Drive to Shiraz, known as the city of poets, literature, and gardens. Visit the beautiful Nasir al-Mulk Mosque, often referred to as the "Pink Mosque," with its stunning stained glass windows and colorful tiles. Explore the historic Vakil Bazaar, where you can find souvenirs, spices, and handicrafts. Take a stroll in the beautiful Eram Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage site that is famous for its well-manicured gardens and Persian architecture.   • Day 11-12: Kerman

Transportation

Airports

The main international airport in Iran is Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKA), located 30 km southwest of the city center. For domestic flights, Mehrabad International Airport (THR) is the main airport in Tehran. Other major airports include Bandar Abbas International Airport (BND), which provides flights to Kish Island, and Shiraz International Airport (SYZ), which has international flights to destinations such as Dubai, Istanbul, and Doha.
