7-Day Family Friendly Itinerary for Kedarnath, Rishikesh, and Haridwar in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Arrival in Kedarnath

  5. Day 5: Haridwar

    In the morning, take a cable car ride to the Mansa Devi temple. In the afternoon, visit the Shantikunj Ashram, which offers spiritual and cultural programs. In the evening, take a dip in the sacred Ganges river.

  6. Day 6: Rishikesh
    1-hour drive (20 km) from Haridwar

    In the morning, visit the Neer Garh waterfall and enjoy a natural shower. In the afternoon, visit the Vashishta Gufa, where sage Vashishta is believed to have meditated. In the evening, attend a Satsang, a spiritual discourse, at the Parmarth Niketan Ashram.

  7. Day 7: Departure from Dehradun
    3-hour drive (90 km) from Rishikesh

    In the morning, enjoy a nature walk in the Rajaji National Park. In the afternoon, enjoy a local delicacy, a Kachori, and shop for souvenirs in the Dehradun market. Departure from Jolly Grant Airport in the evening.
