2-Day Adventure Itinerary: Bangalore to Coorg

  1. Day 1: Dubare Elephant Camp
    4 hours 20 minutes (177.4 km) from Bangalore

    In the morning, head to the Dubare Elephant Camp where you can interact with friendly elephants. You can watch them being bathed, fed, and even take an elephant ride. In the afternoon, head to the Nisargadhama Forest, a beautiful eco-tourism destination located on an island. You can go for a refreshing swim in the river, take a boat ride, or enjoy a picnic. In the evening, head to the Namdroling Monastery, one of the largest Tibetan settlements in India. The monastery is known for its intricate architecture and houses more than 5,000 monks and nuns.

  2. Day 2: Tadiandamol Peak
    3 hours 30 minutes (150.7 km) from Dubare Elephant Camp

    In the morning, head to the Tadiandamol Peak, the highest peak in Coorg. You can trek to the top and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain ranges. In the afternoon, head to the Abbey Falls, a stunning waterfall surrounded by lush greenery. Take a dip in the refreshing pool or simply relax and enjoy the scenery. In the evening, head to the Raja's Seat, a popular sunset viewpoint. Enjoy the panoramic views of the valley and the sunset.
