2-Day Motorcycle Riding Itinerary: Mangalore, Udupi, and Dharmasthala

  1. Day 1: Udupi
    1 hour 30 minutes (54.7 km) from Mangalore

    In the morning, visit the Sri Krishna Matha temple, one of the most famous pilgrimage sites in South India. Admire the temple's intricate carvings and architecture. For lunch, head to the iconic Diana Hotel for a local delicacy, masala dosa. After lunch, ride to the Malpe beach and enjoy the afternoon relaxing on the sandy shores and take a dip in the Arabian sea. In the evening, visit the Udupi Anantheshwara temple and catch the evening aarti.

  2. Day 2: Dharmasthala
    2 hours 6 minutes (79.1 km) from Udupi

    Start your day by riding to the Manjunatha temple, a sacred Shiva temple known for its intricate carvings and peaceful atmosphere. After the temple visit, ride to the Bahubali statue, a 39-feet tall Gommateshwara statue situated on top of a hill. Take a few photos and enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. For lunch, head to the nearby Annapoorneshwari temple and enjoy a traditional vegetarian meal. After lunch, ride to the Netravathi river and enjoy a boat ride on the calm waters. In the evening, visit the Rathnagiri temple and catch the evening aarti.
