Munar Honeymoon Itinerary - July 2023

  1. Day 1: Exploring the Town
    15 minutes (8.7 km) from Cochin International Airport

    Start your day with a visit to the Tea Museum located in the heart of Munar. Learn about the history and cultivation of tea while enjoying a cup of freshly brewed tea. Next, take a stroll through the beautiful Blossom Park, a picturesque garden filled with various flowers and rare birds. For lunch, head to the Rapsy Restaurant for some authentic Kerala cuisine. In the afternoon, visit the Mattupetty Dam, a popular spot for boating and sightseeing. In the evening, take a romantic walk through the Kundala Lake and catch the breathtaking sunset.

  2. Day 2: Exploring Nature
    1 hour 20 minutes (35.1 km) from Kundala Lake

    Get an early start and head to the Eravikulam National Park, which opens at 6:00 am. This park is home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and offers beautiful views of the surrounding hills. After the park, head to the Top Station, the highest point in Munar, for stunning panoramic views of the Western Ghats. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the Echo Point and try to hear your voice echo across the water. In the evening, visit the Chinnakanal Waterfalls and take a romantic dip in the cool waters.

  3. Day 3: Relaxation and Adventure

    Spend your last day relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Munar. Visit the Ayurvedic Healing Village for a couple's massage and Ayurveda treatment. For lunch, head to the Sree Mahaveer Bhojanalaya for some delicious vegetarian food. In the afternoon, go on a thrilling trek to the Meesapulimala Peak, the second-highest peak in South India. After the trek, watch the beautiful sunset from the peak and head back to your hotel for a romantic candlelight dinner.
