3-Day City Experience Itinerary: Mangalore, Udupi, Dharmasthala

  1. Day 1: Explore Mangalore
    Start your morning at Kadri Park, 15 minutes (3.5 km) from the city center. Enjoy the serene surroundings of the park and visit the Kadri Manjunatha Temple nearby. For lunch, head to Giri Manja's, 20 minutes (5.6 km) from Kadri Park, for authentic Mangalorean cuisine. Visit the impressive St. Aloysius Chapel in the afternoon, which is 15 minutes (4 km) away from Giri Manja's. End your day at the Panambur Beach, a 30-minute (12 km) drive from St. Aloysius Chapel, and enjoy the sunset.
  2. Day 2: Udupi
    Start your day early and drive 60 km (1 hour and 20 minutes) from Mangalore to Udupi. Visit the iconic Sri Krishna Temple and indulge in some delicious prasadam for breakfast. Next, visit the Anantheshwara Temple, which is only a 10-minute (1 km) walk from Sri Krishna Temple. Enjoy a local lunch at the Woodlands Restaurant, 15 minutes (1.2 km) from Anantheshwara Temple. In the evening, visit Malpe Beach, which is 5 km (15 minutes) from Woodlands Restaurant, and enjoy the scenic beauty of the Arabian Sea.
  3. Day 3: Dharmasthala
    Drive 75 km (1 hour and 40 minutes) from Udupi to Dharmasthala. Start your day by visiting the famous Manjunatha Swamy Temple, which is 3 km (10 minutes) from the city center. For lunch, head to the Shanthala Tiffin Room, which is 15 minutes (4 km) from the temple. Visit the Bahubali Hill and statue in the evening, which is 6 km (20 minutes) from the tiffin room. End your day with a visit to the Ram Mandir, which is only 5 minutes (1.5 km) away from the Bahubali Hill.

If you have extra time, you can visit the Tannirbhavi Beach in Mangalore or the Kapu Beach in Udupi. You can also consider visiting Kukke Subramanya temple, which is en route to Dharmasthala.
