Three-Day City Experience Itinerary in Mumbai in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Gateway of India
    30 minutes (9.2 km) from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus

    Start your trip exploring the Gateway of India, a historic monument built during the British Raj era. Take a boat ride to the iconic Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to see the ancient rock-cut Hindu and Buddhist cave temples. Have lunch at Leopold Cafe, one of the oldest cafes in Mumbai, which has been serving since 1871. In the afternoon, visit the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya Museum to learn about the city's history and culture.   2. Day 2: Dhobi Ghat and Haji Ali Dargah

Afterward, head to Haji Ali Dargah, a mosque and shrine, located in the middle of the sea and accessible by a narrow causeway.   3. Day 3: Bollywood and Sanjay Gandhi National Park
    1 hour 10 minutes (36.2 km) from Bandra

    Start your day by visiting Film City, the heart of the Bollywood film industry, and take a tour to see behind the scenes of the movies. Have lunch at Shiv Sagar, a vegetarian restaurant, and try some Indian cuisine. In the afternoon, head to Sanjay Gandhi National Park, a vast protected area with diverse flora and fauna. Take a safari ride to see the tigers, lions, and leopards. In the evening, head to Juhu Beach, a popular spot for locals and tourists, and enjoy the sunset.
