Three Days in Gokarna, Avagurki, and Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Gokarna
    25 minutes (10 miles) from Kumta

    Start your day with a sunrise walk at Kudle Beach, one of Gokarna's most popular beaches. Afterward, head to Mahabaleshwara Temple, a 4th-century temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the afternoon, visit Om Beach, known for its distinctive shape and excellent water sports activities. End your day at Paradise Beach, a secluded beach accessible only by boat.

  2. Day 2: Avagurki
    2 hours 15 minutes (69 miles) from Gokarna

    Start your day with a visit to Shri Gokarna Mahaganapati Temple, one of the most significant temples in the region. Then, head to Avagurki Beach, a secluded and pristine beach with sparkling blue waters. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Mirjan Fort, a beautiful 16th-century fort nestled amid lush greenery. End your day with a relaxing stroll at the tranquil Apsarakonda Waterfalls.

  3. Day 3: Goa
    2 hours 45 minutes (94 miles) from Avagurki

    Start your day with a visit to the famous Basilica of Bom Jesus in Old Goa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in India. Then, head to Fort Aguada, a stunning 17th-century fort that offers breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. In the evening, visit the vibrant Anjuna Beach, known for its lively parties and flea markets.
