Bhattara Mane is a forest guest house and the first stop on the Kumara Parvata trek. The trail from Kukke Subramanya to Bhattara Mane is moderately difficult and takes around 3 hours to complete. The trail offers breathtaking views of the Western Ghats.
Kumara Parvata is the second-highest peak in Coorg, located at an altitude of 1,712 metres. The trail from Bhattara Mane to Kumara Parvata is steep and takes around 4-5 hours to complete. The trail passes through dense forests and grasslands and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
The trek back to Bhattara Mane takes around 3 hours. You can stay overnight at the guest house, which provides basic accommodation facilities.
