6-Day Itinerary for Sikkim, North Sikkim, and Gangtok in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Gangtok
    32 minutes (17.6 km) from Pakyong Airport

    In the morning, visit the Enchey Monastery, a peaceful and serene place with stunning views of the city. In the afternoon, go to the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, a museum showcasing Buddhist culture and history. Finally, in the evening, visit the MG Marg, the busiest street in Gangtok, lined with shops, cafes, and restaurants.

  2. Day 2: Lachen
    4 hours (108 km) from Gangtok

    In the morning, drive to the Seven Sister Waterfalls, a group of seven waterfalls that are a sight to behold. Afterward, visit the Kabi Longstok, a historical site that commemorates the signing of the treaty of brotherhood between the Lepcha and Bhutia tribes. In the evening, reach Lachen and enjoy the scenic beauty of the place.

  3. Day 3: Gurudongmar Lake

  4. Day 4: Lachung

  5. Day 5: Gangtok

  6. Day 6: Gangtok
