3-Day Honeymoon Itinerary for Diu in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Diu Fort
    5 minutes (1.2 km) from Diu Airport

    In the morning, visit Diu Fort, which is a historical landmark built by the Portuguese in 1535. The fort offers a magnificent view of the sea and a beautiful garden inside. In the afternoon, take a stroll along the Naida Caves, a natural labyrinth of rocks that are believed to have formed due to geological forces. You can also visit the Gangeshwar Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and has five shivlingas situated near the sea. In the evening, relax at the Nagoa Beach, which is known for its serene and tranquil atmosphere.

  2. Day 2: INS Khukri Memorial and Shell Museum
    20 minutes (8.5 km) from Nagoa Beach

    Start your day by visiting the INS Khukri Memorial, which is dedicated to the brave Indian naval officers who lost their lives during the Indo-Pakistan war in 1971. Afterward, head to the Shell Museum, which is home to a vast collection of exquisite and rare shells from across the world. In the afternoon, visit the St. Paul's Church, which is one of the few churches in India that has Gothic architecture. In the evening, take a romantic walk along the Jallandhar Beach, where you can witness a stunning sunset with your partner.

  3. Day 3: Ghoghla Beach and Panikotha Fort

    On your final day, visit the Ghoghla Beach, which is one of the largest and most popular beaches in Diu.
