In the morning, visit the Krishna Janmasthan Temple, the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Head to the Dwarkadhish Temple, built in the North Indian architectural style, in the afternoon. Then, explore the Mathura Museum, which houses a collection of ancient sculptures, paintings and artifacts. In the evening, participate in the Yamuna Aarti ceremony, which takes place by the Yamuna River.
In the morning, visit the Taj Mahal, one of the most famous landmarks of India and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, head to the Agra Fort, a historical fort that served as the main residence of the Mughal Emperors. In the afternoon, explore the Itmad-ud-Daula, also known as the "Baby Taj" due to its resemblance to the Taj Mahal. In the evening, witness the sunset view of the Taj Mahal from the Mehtab Bagh gardens.
In the morning, visit the Fatehpur Sikri, a historical city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Explore the Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, Panch Mahal and other beautiful monuments. In the afternoon, visit the Tomb of Akbar the Great, a mausoleum built for the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Finally, head to the Kinari Bazaar, a bustling market filled with textiles, handicrafts and jewellery.
If you have time, visit the Madan Mohan Temple in Vrindavan, which is one of the oldest temples in the city. You can also take a side trip to Barsana, a town near Mathura that is famous for its Holi celebrations. To maximise your fun, try some local street food such as Kachori, Samosa and Peda. Don't forget to bargain when shopping in the markets. Finally, be prepared for the heat and humidity during July, and carry sunscreen and a hat with you at all times.
