3-Day Itinerary for Chikamagaluru and Bangalore, Karnataka

  1. Day 1: Chikamagaluru
    Approximately 244km (4 hours) from Bangalore
    Morning:

    Start your day early by visiting the Mullayanagiri Peak, the highest peak in Karnataka. Enjoy the scenic beauty and trek to the top of the peak. After that, head to the Baba Budangiri Hills, which is an important pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Muslims. Explore the beautiful landscapes, waterfalls and caves.

    Afternoon:

    After a tiring morning, relax and have a sumptuous lunch at the Serai Resort Chikmagalur. Post-lunch, visit the Coffee Museum where you can learn about coffee plantations and their processing.

    Evening:

    End your day by going on a Jeep Safari at the Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary and explore the flora and fauna of this place.

  2. Day 2: Bangalore
    Approximately 244km (4 hours) from Chikamagaluru
    Morning:

    Start your day early by visiting the Cubbon Park, one of the most beautiful and green spaces in Bangalore. It also houses the State Archaeological Museum and the Government Museum. After that, head to the Bangalore Palace which was built in 1878 and has a beautiful garden.

    Afternoon:

    Enjoy a delicious lunch at the famous MTR restaurant which is known for its authentic South Indian cuisine. Post-lunch, visit the ISKCON Temple, which is a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Krishna.

    Evening:

    End your day by going on a shopping spree at the Brigade Road, one of the busiest shopping areas in Bangalore. You can also visit the UB City Mall, which has a wide range of luxury brands.

  3. Day 3: Bangalore
    Morning:

    Start your day by visiting the Lalbagh Botanical Garden, which is spread over 240 acres and has a beautiful glass house. After that, head to the Bangalore Fort, which was built by Kempe Gowda in 1537.

    Afternoon:

    Enjoy a delicious lunch at the famous Koshy's restaurant which is known for its continental cuisine. Post-lunch, visit the Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace, which was built in 1791 and has a beautiful garden.

    Evening:

    End your day by visiting the Ulsoor Lake, which is a beautiful lake and has boating facilities. You can also visit the nearby St. Mary's Basilica, which is one of the oldest churches in Bangalore.
