5-Day Itinerary for Manali in December 2023

  1. Day 1: Rohtang Pass
    1 hour 30 minutes (39 km) from Manali

    Start your day early as Rohtang Pass is only accessible during the daytime. Enjoy the picturesque drive to the pass and admire the stunning views of snow-capped peaks. Try some adventure activities like skiing, snowboarding or sledging. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Solang Valley for more adventure activities or take a cable car ride to Mount Phatru. In the evening, explore the Mall Road and try some local delicacies.

  2. Day 2: Hadimba Temple and Manu Temple
    20 minutes (6 km) from Rohtang Pass

    Visit the famous Hadimba Temple, a unique shrine dedicated to Hidimba Devi, wife of Bhima from Mahabharata. Marvel at the intricate wood carvings and architecture.
