7-Day Hyderabad to Kedarnath Itinerary in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Hyderabad to Delhi
    Flight: 2 hours 20 minutes (1011 Km)

    Board an early morning flight to Delhi. Spend the afternoon exploring the historic monuments such as the Red Fort and Qutub Minar. In the evening, visit Connaught Place for some shopping and dinner.

  2. Day 2: Delhi to Haridwar
    Train: 4 hours 30 minutes (229 Km)

    Take a train to Haridwar, a spiritual town on the banks of the Ganges. Take a dip in the river, visit the Mansa Devi Temple and attend the evening aarti ceremony at Har Ki Pauri.

  3. Day 3: Haridwar to Guptkashi
    Drive: 7 hours (210 Km)

    Drive to Guptkashi, a scenic town located on the banks of the Mandakini river. Visit the ancient Vishwanath Temple and Ardhnareshwar Temple, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Himalayas.

  4. Day 4: Guptkashi to Kedarnath
    Helicopter: 15 minutes (14 Km)

    Take a helicopter ride to Kedarnath, one of the most sacred Hindu shrines. Visit the Kedarnath Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva, and take a dip in the holy Mandakini river.

  5. Day 5: Kedarnath to Rudraprayag
    Helicopter + Drive: 2 hours 30 minutes (88 Km)

    Take a helicopter ride back to Guptkashi and then drive to Rudraprayag. Visit the Koteshwar Mahadev Temple and enjoy the scenic beauty of the confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers.

  6. Day 6: Rudraprayag to Rishikesh
    Drive: 4 hours 30 minutes (138 Km)

    Drive to Rishikesh, the Yoga capital of the world. Visit the Triveni Ghat for a holy dip in the Ganges, attend the evening aarti ceremony at Parmarth Niketan, and enjoy the Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula bridges.

  7. Day 7: Rishikesh to Delhi
    Drive: 5 hours 30 minutes (242 Km)

    Drive back to Delhi, stopping at the Beatles Ashram in the morning. In the evening, visit the famous Akshardham Temple, followed by a sumptuous dinner at a local restaurant.

Don't miss the opportunity to visit the Kumbh Mela, which takes place in Haridwar every 12 years. You can also visit the nearby hill stations of Mussoorie and Nainital.
