2-Day Itinerary for Mount Abu in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Dilwara Jain Temples
    10 minutes (2.5 km) from Nakki Lake

    Start your day early and visit the Dilwara Jain Temples, one of the finest examples of Jain architecture in India. Spend the morning admiring the intricate marble carvings and learning about Jainism. Don't miss the stunning 'rang mandap' and the 'navchowki' with its 360 miniature statues. After lunch, explore the nearby Nakki Lake, take a boat ride, or trek up to the Toad Rock for some breathtaking views. In the evening, head to Sunset Point to catch the mesmerizing sunset over the Aravalli Range.

  2. Day 2: Guru Shikhar and Achalgarh Fort
    1 hour (15 km) from Nakki Lake

    Start your day early and drive up to Guru Shikhar, the highest point in Rajasthan. Enjoy the scenic drive and the panoramic views from the top. Afterwards, head to Achalgarh Fort, an ancient fort with a rich history. Explore the fort's temples, cenotaphs, and step-wells. You can also trek to the nearby Kantinath Temple for a spiritual experience. In the evening, visit the Brahma Kumaris Spiritual University and Museum for some peace and tranquility.
