4-Day Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Basilica of Bom Jesus
    30 minutes (13.3 km) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in India. Admire the Baroque architecture and the remains of St. Francis Xavier, a patron saint, whose body is enshrined in the church. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Se Cathedral, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, to see its Portuguese-Gothic architecture and the Golden Bell. In the evening, stroll through the Fontainhas neighborhood, a charming Latin Quarter with colorful Portuguese-style houses and quaint streets.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours (70.3 km) from Basilica of Bom Jesus

    Start your day early and head to Dudhsagar Falls, a four-tiered waterfall located on the Mandovi River, surrounded by lush greenery and a natural pool that you can swim in. Enjoy the scenic train ride to the falls or hike through the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. In the afternoon, visit the spice plantations nearby, where you can see and taste a variety of spices and herbs used in Indian cuisine.
