  1. Day 1: Courtallam Main Falls

    Start your morning at the Courtallam Main Falls, also known as Peraruvi, which is the most popular waterfall in Courtallam. The waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers. You can take a refreshing bath in the falls’ cascading water or walk around the area to enjoy the scenic beauty. Afternoon can be spent exploring the nearby Kutralam Falls, which is a smaller waterfall but equally beautiful. In the evening, head to the Chitra Sabha Temple, a nearby temple that is famous for its intricate stone carvings.

  2. Day 2: Five Falls
    20 minutes (9 km) from Courtallam Main Falls

    Five Falls is an exhilarating experience where the water cascades from a height of 1500 feet. It’s a 10-minute trek down to the falls, but it's worth it considering the breathtaking view of the waterfall. The force of the falls is so strong that it makes a loud noise that can be heard from a distance. Spend the morning enjoying the falls then have lunch at the nearby eateries. Afternoon can be spent exploring the Agasthiyar Falls, located just a kilometer away from Five Falls. In the evening, you can visit the Kappal Matha Church located near the Five Falls.

  3. Day 3: Old Courtallam Falls

    Old Courtallam Falls, also known as the Shivamathungai Falls, is a hidden gem in Courtallam. This waterfall is located in the dense forest of the Western Ghats. The waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery, providing a breathtaking view of the falls. Spend the morning taking in the beauty and tranquility of the Old Courtallam Falls. Afternoon can be spent exploring the nearby Palaruvi Falls, which are famous for their medicinal properties.
