Recommendations

Consider taking a day trip to Alleppey to experience the serene backwaters of Kerala. You can also visit the Athirapally Waterfalls or the Vagamon Hill Station to maximize your nature experience. Don't forget to try the local cuisine, especially the Karimeen Pollichathu (fish cooked in banana leaf) and the Kerala-style prawn curry.

If you are interested in Ayurveda treatments, you can visit the many Ayurveda spas and centers in Kerala. Additionally, consider attending a Kerala Kathakali Centre to watch a traditional dance performance or a Kerala Kalari Centre for a martial arts demonstration.

Make sure to pack comfortable shoes, light clothing, and a raincoat as June is the beginning of the monsoon season in Kerala. Additionally, carry insect repellent and sunscreen to protect yourself from mosquitoes and sunburn. Consider renting a car or hiring a driver to make transportation easier.
