5-Day Honeymoon Itinerary: Amritsar to Laddakh

  1. Day 1: Arrival in Amritsar

    Begin your honeymoon in Amritsar by visiting the spectacular Golden Temple. Take a peaceful morning walk around the temple complex and watch the sunrise from the serene Sarovar lake.   2. Day 2: Amritsar to Dharamshala

  4. Day 4: Leh
    Local Sightseeing

    Start your day by visiting the beautiful Thiksey Monastery, one of the largest and most picturesque monasteries in Ladakh. Next, visit the Shey Palace, the former summer palace of the royal family of Ladakh. In the afternoon, visit the Hemis Monastery, the largest and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh, and watch a cultural show. In the evening, stroll around the Leh Palace and enjoy the beautiful view of the sunset.

  5. Day 5: Leh to Pangong Tso Lake
    4 hours 10 minutes (160 km) from Leh

    Take a day trip to the famous Pangong Tso Lake, one of the highest saltwater lakes in the world. The drive to the lake is a beautiful experience in itself, giving you the opportunity to see the unique landscape of Ladakh. Spend the day by the lake, enjoying the stunning views and taking pictures. Return to Leh in the evening and spend your last night exploring the local nightlife.

If you have extra time, consider visiting the Nubra Valley, famous for its sand dunes and double-humped camels. You could also take a trip to the Khardungla Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. To maximize your fun, try some adventure sports like river rafting, trekking, and mountain biking.
