Recommendations

If you have some extra time, visit the Norbulingka Institute, where you can learn about Tibetan culture and art. You can also visit the Namgyal Monastery, Tsuglagkhang Complex or the Gyuto Monastery to experience Buddhism at its best. A side trip to the nearby Palampur town, which is famous for its tea gardens, is also a good idea. Make sure to carry enough water, snacks, and comfortable shoes for all your trips. Enjoy!
