If you have extra time, consider visiting the Ramnagar Fort, located on the eastern bank of the river Ganga. You can also take a day trip to the nearby Sarnath, where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. To maximize your fun, try to attend the morning or evening aarti ceremonies at the Ghats. Don't forget to try the local street food, especially the chaat and lassi. Finally, be sure to bring comfortable walking shoes, as most of the places require walking.
