Traveling around the island by bus is an affordable and convenient option. Fares range from €1.60 to €3.20 depending on the distance traveled. Taxis are also available, costing approximately €1.50 per kilometer. Additionally, rental cars and scooters can be rented for around €30 per day with varying rates depending on the time and season.
If you have more time, consider exploring the nearby islands of Tsougria, Tsoungria, and Skopelos. For those with less time, shorten the itinerary by combining days 1 and 5, and days 9 and 11.
Skiathos Island National Airport (JSI) is the only airport on the island and is located three kilometers from the Skiathos town center.
