3-Day Itinerary: Kedarnath from Delhi in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Arrival in Kedarnath

    In the morning, arrive in Kedarnath and check into your hotel. Afternoon, visit Kedarnath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Take a dip in the holy Kedarnath Mandakini River. In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti at the Kedarnath Ghat, a beautiful ceremony of worship to the Ganges River.

  2. Day 2: Explore Kedarnath

    Start your day with a visit to Bhairav Temple, dedicated to Lord Bhairav, a fierce manifestation of Lord Shiva. Then, trek to Vasuki Tal, a beautiful high altitude lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks. In the afternoon, visit Shankaracharya Samadhi, a memorial to Adi Shankaracharya, a great Indian philosopher and theologian. In the evening, enjoy a scenic walk along the Mandakini River.

  3. Day 3: Departure from Kedarnath
    8 hours (470 km) from Delhi

    Start your day with a visit to Gandhi Sarovar, a beautiful lake named after Mahatma Gandhi. Then, trek to Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary, home to various species of flora and fauna. In the afternoon, visit Triyuginarayan Temple, a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. In the evening, depart from Kedarnath and head back to Delhi.
