3-Day Itinerary for Wayanad and Ooty in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Wayanad
    3 hours 25 minutes (110 km) from Calicut International Airport

    Morning: Visit the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, home to a wide range of flora and fauna, including tigers, leopards, and elephants. Enjoy a safari ride and witness the animals in their natural habitat.
    Afternoon: Head to the Soochipara Waterfalls, a three-tiered waterfall located amidst the dense forests. Take a refreshing dip in the pool and enjoy the beauty of the falls.
    Evening: End the day by visiting the Chembra Peak, the highest peak in Wayanad. You'll have to trek up a steep hill to get there, but the view of the heart-shaped lake from the top is worth the effort.
