Recommendations

Other must-visit places in Goa are the churches in North Goa, the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, and the beautiful beaches of Palolem and Anjuna. Side trips to nearby states like Maharashtra and Karnataka are also possible. To maximize your fun, try Goan cuisine like fish curry and rice, and indulge in some feni, a local liquor made from cashew fruits. We also recommend renting a scooter or a car to explore Goa at your own pace.
