7-Day Uttarakhand Itinerary in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Nainital
    2.5 hours (62.5 km) from Pantnagar Airport

    Start your day with a boat ride in the serene Naini Lake. Visit the Naina Devi Temple and take a ropeway to Snow View Point for panoramic views. In the evening, walk around Mall Road for shopping and dining.

  2. Day 2: Kausani
    3 hours (115 km) from Nainital

    Wake up early for a scenic drive to Kausani. Visit the Anasakti Ashram where Mahatma Gandhi stayed and admire the Himalayan peaks from the Baijnath Temple. Spend the evening at the Kausani Tea Estate and learn about tea production.

  3. Day 3: Munsiyari
    6 hours (190 km) from Kausani

    Take a picturesque drive to Munsiyari with stops at Birthi Falls and Thamari Kund. In Munsiyari, go on a day hike to Khaliya Top for stunning views of the Panchachuli peaks. Relax in the evening at your hotel.

  4. Day 4: Chaukori
    3 hours (95 km) from Munsiyari

    Drive to Chaukori and visit the Kedar Temple and the nearby tea gardens. Take a short trek to the Mahakali Temple and enjoy views of the Himalayas. Spend the evening stargazing at your hotel.
