4-Day Itinerary for Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Basilica of Bom Jesus
    20 minutes (10.5 km) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the oldest churches in India. The afternoon can be spent at Miramar Beach, where you can enjoy the sun and sand.   2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls

    Start early and head to the Dudhsagar Falls, a four-tiered waterfall located on the Mandovi River. The falls are accessible by a jeep safari ride through the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. In the afternoon, visit the Se Cathedral, one of the largest churches in Asia, and enjoy the intricate Portuguese-Gothic architecture. In the evening, head to the Tito's Lane in Baga, known for its vibrant nightlife.

  3. Day 3: Fort Aguada
    30 minutes (16.9 km) from Baga

    Visit Fort Aguada, a 17th-century Portuguese fort built on the Mandovi River estuary. The fort offers a panoramic view of the Arabian Sea and is a great spot for photography. In the afternoon, head to Anjuna Beach and shop at the famous Anjuna Flea Market. In the evening, visit the Chapora Fort, known for its Bollywood connection and stunning sunset view.

  4. Day 4: Divar Island
    30 minutes (14.2 km) from Panaji

    Take a ferry to Divar Island, known for its scenic beauty and quaint villages. In the morning, visit the Our Lady of Compassion Church and the Shree Saptakoteshwar Temple. In the afternoon, explore the island on a bike or foot. In the evening, head to the Mandovi River and take a sunset cruise.

If you have time, visit the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, located on the western tip of the Chorao Island. The sanctuary is home to various species of birds and is a paradise for birdwatchers.
