Recommendations

Sikkim has a lot to offer for travelers on a shoestring budget. If you have some extra time, consider visiting the Yuksom, a small town that is the gateway to the Khangchendzonga National Park and the starting point for the Goechala trek. You can also visit the Temi Tea Garden, the only tea garden in Sikkim that offers tours and tea tasting sessions. To maximize your fun, try the local street food, which is delicious and affordable. Finally, don't forget to bargain when shopping in the local markets.
