If you have more time, don't miss the opportunity to explore the backwaters of Kerala. You can also visit the Eravikulam National Park, which is home to several endangered species including the Nilgiri Tahr. Another must-see attraction is the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary which houses exotic flora and fauna. Make sure to book your accommodation in advance and check the opening and closing times of all attractions you plan to visit.

For a side trip, visit the nearby town of Thekkady, which is known for its spice plantations. You can also take a boat ride on the Periyar Lake, located in the heart of the town. Thekkady is also a great place to indulge in some shopping and buy souvenirs for your loved ones.

Make sure to carry comfortable shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent, and light clothing for the trip. You can also carry a raincoat or umbrella as the weather in Kerala is unpredictable. Follow all safety guidelines and enjoy your adventurous trip to Kerala!
