2-Day Mumbai Itinerary for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Gateway of India
    30 minutes (11 km) from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST)

    Morning: Visit the iconic Gateway of India, a monument built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Mumbai. Take a boat ride to Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site on Elephanta Island, to see the impressive rock-cut sculptures and temples dedicated to Lord Shiva.

    Morning: Head over to the iconic Bandra Worli Sea Link, a cable-stayed bridge that connects Bandra to Worli. Take a stroll or bike ride along the bridge and enjoy the stunning views of the Arabian Sea and Mumbai skyline.
    Afternoon: Visit the famous Haji Ali Dargah, a mosque and shrine built in the middle of the sea. Explore the nearby Mahalaxmi Dhobi Ghat, an open-air laundromat where hundreds of people work to wash and dry clothes.
