Make sure to attend a local festival if there is one happening during your visit. Side trips to the nearby villages of Langza and Hikkim are also highly recommended. To make the most out of your cultural immersion experience, consider staying with a local family or participating in a homestay program. Lastly, don't forget to bring warm clothes as the temperature can drop significantly at night.
