Two-Day Motorcycle Riding Itinerary in Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Morjim Beach
1-hour 20-minutes (23.6 miles) from Goa International Airport

Start your day by riding to Morjim Beach, also known as Turtle Beach. This secluded beach is a nesting ground for the Olive Ridley Sea Turtles. You can witness their hatching during the winter months. The beach is relatively empty during June, allowing you to relax and take in the picturesque view. After an early morning swim, head to nearby Vinayak Family Restaurant for some authentic Goan breakfast. In the afternoon, ride to the Chapora Fort, which is a 30-minute ride from the beach. The fort overlooks the Arabian Sea and the Chapora River. It's a historical site and a popular tourist spot. Spend your evening watching the sunset from here.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    2-hour 30-minutes (55 miles) from Morjim Beach

Start your day early and head to the Dudhsagar Falls. This four-tiered waterfall is a sight to behold and is located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park. You can take a dip in the pool or trek to the top of the waterfall for a stunning view. Head to the Spice Plantation after lunch for a guided tour of the plantation and a traditional Goan lunch. In the evening, ride to Baga Beach, which is a 1-hour ride from the Spice Plantation. The beach is famous for its nightlife and shacks that serve delicious seafood.

Recommendations

If you have extra time, you can visit the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, Old Goa, and Basilica of Bom Jesus. You can also take a ferry to explore the nearby islands. If you're looking for a side trip, you can head to Hampi, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is located about 6 hours from Goa. To maximize your fun, make sure to wear appropriate riding gear and stay hydrated. Keep a power bank handy to charge your phone. You can also consider renting a motorcycle with a pillion seat if you're traveling with a companion. Lastly, make sure to try the local cuisine, attend a music festival if there's one happening during your visit and enjoy the scenic coastal ride.
