The Yutoku Inari Shrine is a beautiful, vibrant shrine in Kashima. It's famous for its long row of thousands of vibrant red torii gates which visitors can walk through. During your visit, walk up the shrine's steep staircase to see the view and buy some souvenirs.
Visit Takeo Onsen, one of Japan's most famous hot springs with a 1,300-year history. Relax and enjoy the waters, said to be effective in healing a variety of ailments. The Takeo Onsen main building was rebuilt using traditional Japanese methods, giving it an appearance that blends into the surrounding nature.
The Saga Castle History Museum is a museum where you can learn about the history of Saga while exploring the impressive architecture and beautiful gardens surrounding the museum. Inside, there are exhibits featuring historical artifacts and Samurai suits of armor, as well as models of the castle.
The Yoshinogari historical park features a reconstruction of a Yayoi-period farm village, as well as ruins and artifacts from the area's Yayoi era. Visitors can see reconstructed pit dwellings and observe demonstrations of Yayoi-period agriculture, including rice planting and harvesting.
Hado Misaki Cape is a lovely spot with beautiful views of the coastline of Hizen Hamashuku. From the top of the cape, visitors can see the Shiraishi Islands, which offer scenic views of the ocean and sunset. There is also a walking bridge that takes you out to the edge of the cape.
