Trip to Kochi in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Kochi Fort
    10 minutes (2.2 km) from Kochi Beach

    Start your day by visiting Kochi Fort, which was built by the Portuguese in the early 16th century and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a stroll along the ramparts and enjoy the stunning views of the Arabian Sea. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Dutch Palace, which houses some of the best-preserved murals in India. Afterward, head to Jew Street for some souvenir shopping and a taste of local cuisine.

  2. Day 2: Backwaters of Kochi
    30 minutes (12 km) from Kochi Fort

    Start your day by exploring the backwaters of Kochi on a houseboat. The backwaters are a network of lagoons and canals that are home to a variety of bird and marine life. You'll also get a chance to see the daily life of the local villagers. In the afternoon, visit the Hill Palace Museum, which is the largest archaeological museum in Kerala. It houses a vast collection of artifacts from the royal family of Kochi. End your day with a visit to the Cherai Beach for a beautiful sunset view.
