Transportation

To make the most of one day in Bermuda, we recommend hiring a moped or scooter. Alternatively, taxis are readily available at all popular tourist spots. A full-day moped rental costs around $50, while a taxi tour for the day would cost around $150. Be sure to bring a map, sunscreen and a helmet if you decide to rent a moped, and ensure you are comfortable driving on the opposite side of the road. Keep in mind that there can be traffic during peak tourism periods, so factor in some extra time for travel.

Useful Tips

If you have more time, consider taking a glass-bottom boat or catamaran tour and explore more beaches & reefs. You can also visit the Crystal Caves, take a trip to the western end of Bermuda to the Royal Naval Dockyard, or try some water sports. If you have less time, you can skip Horseshoe Bay Beach and spend more time at one of the other places we suggested. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated throughout your trip, as Bermuda can be humid.
