6-Day Bali Itinerary for September 2023

  1. Day 1: Visit Pura Tirta Empul
    1 hour (18.8 miles) from Ngurah Rai International Airport

    In the morning, visit Pura Tirta Empul, an ancient temple famous for its holy spring water. Take a dip in the water to purify your soul.   2. Day 2: Explore Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary

  5. Day 5: Trek to Mount Batur

  6. Day 6: Relax in Nusa Dua Beach
    1 hour (12.3 miles) from Tanah Lot Temple

    In the morning, head to Nusa Dua Beach, one of Bali's most popular beaches. Relax on the beach and enjoy some water activities like snorkeling and parasailing. In the afternoon, visit the Museum Pasifika, a unique museum featuring artwork from different Pacific countries. In the evening, enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants in Seminyak.

Recommendations

Aside from the places mentioned in this itinerary, you may also want to consider visiting the Tirta Empul temple during a full moon to witness a special purification ceremony. If you have more time, you can take a side trip to the Gili Islands for some diving or snorkeling. To maximize your fun, try to learn some basic Balinese phrases and interact with the locals.
