Four Days Family-Friendly Itinerary in Goa in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    17 minutes (5.4 km) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, visit the iconic Fort Aguada which is a 17th-century Portuguese fort in North Goa. It is a well-preserved monument that offers a magnificent view of the Arabian Sea. Afternoon, you can relax on the Candolim beach nearby and also try some beach sports. In the evening, take a walk on the Sinquerim beach and enjoy the sunset while savoring some lip-smacking seafood.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours 30 minutes (73.4 km) from Sinquerim Beach

    Spend the day exploring Dudhsagar Waterfalls which is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in India. The waterfall is located on the Mandovi River and is surrounded by lush green forests. You can take a dip in the cool waters of the waterfall and also enjoy a trek in the surrounding area. Make sure to carry a change of clothes and some snacks for the trip.

  3. Day 3: Anjuna Flea Market
    37 minutes (18.6 km) from Dudhsagar Falls

    Start the day by visiting the Anjuna Flea Market which is famous for its colorful stalls, handicrafts, and souvenirs. You can shop for some unique items and also munch on some local delicacies. Afternoon, head to the Baga beach which is one of the most popular beaches in Goa. You can enjoy water sports, sunbathing, and also indulge in some beachside shopping. In the evening, head to Tito's Lane and enjoy some live music and delicious food.

  4. Day 4: Basilica of Bom Jesus
    1 hour 10 minutes (24.3 km) from Tito's Lane

    On the last day, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the oldest churches in Goa and houses the remains of St. Francis Xavier. Afternoon, head to the Miramar beach which is a beautiful golden sand beach with calm waters. You can relax on the beach and enjoy some seafood. In the evening, take a sunset cruise on the Mandovi River and enjoy some Goan music and dance.
