Lahaina is a historic whaling village that has been transformed into a charming seaside town. Stroll through the narrow streets lined with art galleries and boutique shops. There are also many excellent restaurants that serve fresh seafood and island-inspired cuisine.
Molokini Crater is a partially submerged volcanic crater that offers some of the best snorkeling in Maui. You can see an abundance of vibrant tropical fish, sea turtles, and even some reef sharks. If you're lucky, you might even spot some humpback whales on the way there.
Paia is a laid-back surfer town that has a bohemian vibe. It's a great place to pick up some locally made souvenirs, grab some shave ice or a smoothie bowl, and soak up the relaxed atmosphere. There are also some great beaches nearby if you want to catch some waves or just lounge on the sand.
To explore Maui fully, it's recommended to rent a car. Keep in mind that the Road to Hana can be challenging and requires a vehicle with good handling. Ride-share services and taxis are available, but they can be expensive, and not all areas are serviceable.

It's the second busiest airport in Hawaii and serves many airlines, including Hawaiian, United, Delta, and American. It's a hub for inter-island flights and has flights to and from several major cities in the United States, Canada, and Japan.
