  1. Day 1: Explore North Goa

      Start your trip by exploring Fort Aguada, an old Portuguese fort with stunning views of the Arabian Sea. The fort was built in the 17th century to protect against Dutch and Maratha invaders. Spend the morning learning about the history of the fort and admiring the stunning views. In the afternoon, head to Sinquerim Beach, a beautiful stretch of sand perfect for swimming and sunbathing. End your day with a sunset dinner at Thirsty Bear, a popular restaurant with great food and drinks.

      In the morning, head to the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in India.   3. Day 3: Explore the City

      In the morning, explore Reis Magos Fort, a 16th-century fort with beautiful views of the Mandovi River. The fort has been recently restored and now houses an art gallery and cultural center. In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Goa, a contemporary art museum with a focus on Goan artists. End your day with dinner and drinks at Gunpowder, a popular restaurant with great food and a cozy atmosphere.

Recommendations

There are plenty of other attractions to see in Goa, like the Dudhsagar Falls or the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. You can also take a day trip to the nearby state of Maharashtra to visit the Ajanta and Ellora Caves. To maximize your fun, consider renting a scooter or a car to explore the area at your own pace. And don't forget to try some of the local cuisine, like fish curry or vindaloo!
