2-Day Family-Friendly Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Calangute Beach
    25 minutes (9.8 km) from Goa International Airport

    Morning: Start your day with a stroll on Calangute Beach, one of the busiest and most popular beaches in Goa. Enjoy the picturesque views and take a dip in the sea. Don't forget to try some local snacks and drinks from the shacks alongside the beach.
    Afternoon: Head to Baga Beach, located just a few minutes away from Calangute and enjoy water sports such as parasailing, banana boat rides, and jet skiing. You can also visit the nearby Aguada Fort and enjoy the stunning views of the Arabian Sea.
    Evening: End your day by visiting the Anjuna Flea Market and shop for souvenirs, clothes, and jewelry. You can also enjoy some local street food and live music performances.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    2 hours 30 minutes (75.4 km) from Calangute Beach

    Morning: Start your day early and head to Dudhsagar Waterfalls, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Goa. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the falls and take a refreshing swim in the pool below. Don't forget to carry appropriate footwear for the trek to the falls.
    Afternoon: After the trek, head to the spice plantation nearby and learn about the various spices, fruits, and herbs grown in Goa. Enjoy a traditional Goan lunch at the plantation.
    Evening: End your day by visiting the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in Goa. Marvel at the stunning architecture and learn about the history of the church. You can also visit the nearby Se Cathedral and Chapel of St. Catherine.
