5-Day Luxury Bali Itinerary

  • Day 1: The Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
10 minutes (3.3 km) from Ubud

The Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary is a nature reserve and Hindu temple complex in Ubud. It's home to over 900 Balinese long-tailed macaques, who roam freely in the park. Visitors can take a leisurely stroll along the forest trail, explore the three temples on the site, and observe the playful monkeys swinging from the branches.

  • Day 2: Kelingking Beach and Broken Beach

Kelingking Beach is a hidden gem in Nusa Penida. The pink sand beach is surrounded by towering cliffs, and the clear blue water provides excellent swimming and snorkeling opportunities. From there, head to the nearby Broken Beach, aka Pasih Uug Beach. The natural swimming pool was created by a collapsed limestone cave and is a sight to behold.

  • Day 3: Sekumpul Waterfall
2-hour drive (69 km) from Nusa Penida

Sekumpul Waterfall is touted as one of the most beautiful falls in Bali. The trek to the waterfall is long and involves crossing through rivers and walking up and down steep steps. But the scenery along the way is worth the effort. After arriving, take a dip in the refreshing water and marvel at the 80-meter cascade.

  • Day 4: The Hanging Gardens of Bali and Tegallalang Rice Terraces
30-minute drive (11 km) from Ubud

Even if you're not staying at the hotel, you can still visit and have lunch or drinks with a stunning view! Afterward, head to Tegallalang Rice Terraces, located north of Ubud. The terraced rice fields are a beautiful natural attraction that highlights Bali's agricultural heritage.

Airports

Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) is located in Denpasar, the capital city of Bali, about 13 km south of Kuta. The airport is the third-busiest international airport in Indonesia and serves both domestic and international flights.
