Walking is the best way to get around the compact city center, but taxis and buses are also available. A taxi ride from the cathedral to the castle takes about 15 minutes and costs around €10-15. Buses are inexpensive, with fares starting at €1.10 per journey, but they can be crowded during peak times. Expect to pay around €25 for a one-way trip from Jerez airport to Cadiz.
If you have more time, consider adding a visit to the Roman theater or La Caleta Beach. For a shorter itinerary, you can skip the Mercado Central or the Castle of San Sebastian. Don't forget to bring comfortable shoes, a hat, and sunscreen. If you're visiting in summer, be prepared for high temperatures and crowds.
